14 indicted in Ohio oxycodone trafficking scheme

As reported in the Chillicothe Gazette

COLUMBUS (AP) — A central Ohio grand jury has issued indictments against 14 people accused of being involved in a drug-trafficking ring that brought oxycodone from Florida “pill mills” for sale in central Ohio. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced the indictments Monday in Columbus. O’Brien said the organization was bringing drugs with a street value of between $10,000 and $20,000 to the state every week for at least two years. The alleged ringleader, 29-year Michael Berry, and 13 members of the organization were arrested Nov. 17. Authorities seized 17 guns, including three assault rifles, a bullet-proof vest, more than $8,000 in cash and 900 pills with a street value of $27,000. Arraignments were expected later Monday in court in Columbus. Attorney information for Berry was not available.

Your Horoscope for the Day, Aries, Taurus and Gemini

Aries

Your mind is apt to be fixed on one thing today, Aries, and you won't rest until you've obtained it. Perhaps it's a physical place you're trying to get to, a new gadget that you want to own, or a person you'd like to go out with. Don't be surprised if you have to put up a bit of a fight in order to accomplish this goal, whatever it may be.

Taurus

Things may happen right under your nose today, Taurus, and you may not even be aware of it. The thing that will be obvious is your reaction to the situation when this hidden event suddenly comes to light. A passionate explosion is likely, due to people's heightened emotional state. Try to work with this energy instead of against it.

Gemini

It could be that close friends or family members are in sharp disagreement regarding a certain issue, Gemini. Try not to be too distressed by divisions among the people you love. Some may want you to take sides and express yourself fully on the situation. You may feel as if you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Try your best to compromise.
