Fire Departments from 2 Townships (Huntington, Twin) have been dispatched to an apparent cabin fire in the 400 Block of Pritchard Lane in Huntington Township. No details are available at this time but soon as we have them we'll get them to ya.

Car Hits Local Business By Accident

A vehicle struck the front of Y2K Nails on Western Ave Wednesday Morning. The driver thought they were in reverse and upon accelerating went forward into the front of the business where luckily no one was and there was no injuries.

Large Grass Fire Outside of Bainbridge Monday Afternoon

Several Fire Departments were dispatched to a large grass fire on St Rt 41 outside of Bainbridge. 800 TWP from Bainbridge responded to battle the fire along with 2 Departments of Mutual Aid from Highland County. More details as we have them.

Drugs discovered in a Traffic stop by CPD Sunday Afternoon

The Chillicothe Police Department pulled over a vehicle on E.Water St around 4:30 pm carrying 2 adult males passengers. After stopping the car and a search of the persons/vehicle uncovered an unspecified amount of Cocaine appeared to be discovered and at least one male arrested via the scanner chatter. Mobile Home Fire Early Tuesday Afternoon

UPDATE: Red Cross assisted and 4 Townships responded to the fire that now is under control. The Volunteer Firefighter injured in today's Park Lane fire is OK and he was treated and released from Adena with a sprained ankle and minor scrapes......(Source Fellow Volunteer FF)

Possible Meth Chemicals/Mobile Lab at 7th and Paint

1 Car Rollover Accident on 35 Late Sunday Afternoon

One person was seriously injured late Sunday Afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on Route 35 in eastbound lane west of Chillicothe when a car struck a tree and flipped over onto it's top as a result. A Medical Helicopter was requested by emergency personal at the scene but was unable to assist due to weather conditions so the person was taken via ambulance to Adena with a serious head injuries according to scanner chatter on the accident. Several Indicted by Ross County Grand Jury

The Ross County Grand Jury has issued an indictment against a Columbus man on charges stemming from a stabbing. On January 11, Chillicothe Police responded to a stabbing at 188 East Water Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple wounds to the stomach and forearm.
