Kindness Of Strangers Makes Local Teen's Prom Dream Come True

A local Teen, who's name we have choose to keep hidden for privacy concerns, got a big lift on her dream to attend her High School Prom from kindness of strangers. The Teen is currently in custody of her grandparents due to both parents in trouble with the law and addicted to drugs and changed school districts and made a new boyfriend who asked her to attend prom with him. Unfortunately the purchase of a prom dress was outside of the grandparents budget so the grandmother contacted "She Said Yes Bridal" on Paint St in Chillicothe and asked if they could help out due to the situation. She Said Yes met with the teen and the grandmother and dropped a sizable percentage off the dress price bringing down to $297.00. Today and not sure of the details on how but a stranger/strangers showed kindness and picked up $254.00 of the $297.00 leaving the family to buy a wonderful dress for this young lady for $43! Goes to show ya, there's still plenty of wonderful people out here. ~AB

Chillicothe Inn Doing Their Part To Combat Drugs

While some motels turn a blind eye and add to the problem for sake of profit others do their best to keep that kind of activity off their property's. Chillicothe Inn owner Bhadresh Patel as seen below with a very long "No Rent", goes out of his way to help inform law enforcement of suspicious activity. "We dont want that kind of client" said Patel. "We document all we can to help law enforcement keep that activity away from our business."
