Large Meth Lab Bust

By Matt Lucas of the Pike News Watchman

A woman has been taken into custody by the Pike County Sheriff's Office after meth labs were discovered Tuesday night.

The four one-pot-method clandestine methamphetamine labs were discovered at 22 Ganderhook Road, and Jacqueline Rock was taken into custody in relation to the labs.

On Wednesday, Sgt. Timothy Dickerson and other officers of the Pike County Sheriff's Office, neutralized the labs. Members of the Pebble Township Fire Department and Squad stood by to offer assistance in the case of an emergency during the process.

"Right now we just segregate out the materials, the acids and the flammables, and then we neutralize them so that they're safe to dispose of," Dickerson explained.

The four labs were found in a pick-up truck, and, according to Dickerson, the labs were definitely dangerous.
